History
In 1995, Kwality Milk Foods Ltd was started as a small factory in Kanchipuram. It all started with marketing of liquid milk in pouches under the brand name ANANYA. The journey continued with expansion of its plant capacity for a wide range of products and around 2007 we also added the Brand SONA. KMFL has now grown up to be one of the leading dairies in South India, catering milk to Chennai and its suburbs.
SONA
SONA is a household name in Chennai market. Sona milk and dairy products are for everyone in the family. Sona brand has Milk, Curd, Lassi, Buttermilk, Butter, Ghee, Paneer, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Skimmed Milk Powder and Dairy Whitener under its umbrella. We also have Milkshakes, Flavoured Milk, UHT milk and MOLTO, a malt based drink mix, targeting youth and growing-up children, providing them with a healthier drink option.
Both Milkshake and flavoured milk have been initially launched in three flavours. SONA now also includes an entire range of ice creams and frozen desserts.
Certificatons
The premises are FSMS ISO 22000:2005 certified.
We also have FSSAI, BIS and AGMARK licenses for our products.
